& a Motivational Speaker.

My name is Ndizeye Rubasha. I am an African dreamer, the founder of ETS Rubasha Media, and the host of The Rubasha Family Podcast. Born with the name Aloys, I made a life-changing decision to reclaim my heritage and honor my ancestors by embracing my true African identity.

Today, I live in Australia with my amazing Kenyan wife and our family, but my heart is deeply connected to Africa. I’m on a mission to empower my fellow Africans to embrace their culture, spirituality, and identity while fostering inclusive communities and inspiring resilience.

My Mission and Focus Areas

I believe in the power of reclaiming who we are. My work is rooted in four key areas that I’m passionate about sharing with you:

Reclaiming African Identity

Our names, languages, and traditions are a vital part of who we are. After changing my own name from Aloys to Ndizeye, I’ve seen firsthand how this can honor our ancestors and heal generations.

Spiritual Empowerment

Our faith and spirituality are woven into our culture. I want to help Africans draw strength from the wisdom passed down through generations, giving us the resilience to thrive in today’s world.

Empowering Women and LGBTQ Communities

I believe in amplifying the voices of women and LGBTQ individuals. When we include and empower everyone, we create stronger and more vibrant communities.

Balancing Culture and the Market

Preserving our heritage doesn’t mean staying stagnant. I’m passionate about finding ways to protect our culture while actively participating in the global economy.

Honoring Our Legacy and Celebrating Our Roots.

Our family’s journey is one of strength, wisdom, and unity. From my late father, a prominent businessman in Rwanda, to my father-in-law, an inspiring sportsman, each member has played a pivotal role in shaping our family’s diverse heritage. Their supportive partners, along with my wonderful mother and mother-in-law, have nurtured us with love and guidance. This is not only a tribute but a celebration of the legacy they’ve left behind. Through their influence, our family stands strong, with knowledge and skills drawn from various sectors. Here, we continue to honor their values and contributions, passing them on to future generations.

We share these images to celebrate their lasting impact and the love that binds us all. May their legacy continue to inspire us for generations to come.

Belief in Self as God

Belief in Self as God

For centuries, Africans were taught to look outside themselves for power. They were told that God was distant, separate, and unreachable. But before colonization, African spirituality embraced a different truth. God was not in the sky, sitting on a throne. God was within. The mind, the spirit, the self—this was
African Spirituality vs. Imported Religions

African Spirituality vs. Imported Religions

Long before foreign religions arrived, Africans had their own spiritual systems. They believed in nature, ancestors, and a deep connection with the universe. Their spirituality was based on experience, not blind faith. They saw the sun as life, water as purity, and the earth as a mother. They didn’t need

LGBTQ+ in Africa: Breaking Free from Colonial Mindsets For centuries, African societies lived in harmony with nature. They embraced diversity, understanding that life exists in many forms. But something changed. Before colonization, many African cultures accepted different sexual identities. There were no harsh judgments. No laws criminalizing love. People simply
Imagination: The True Source of Creation

Imagination: The True Source of Creation

Everything you see started as a thought. A simple idea. A vision in someone’s mind. Before there was reality, there was imagination. Africans once understood this deeply. They created, built, and shaped their own world. They knew that the mind was powerful. That what you imagine, you can bring to
Faith in Oneself: The Key to True Freedom

Faith in Oneself: The Key to True Freedom

Faith is powerful. But where do you place it? Many have been taught to put faith in books, in leaders, in gods they have never seen. But what if true faith was meant to be in yourself? Africans once believed in their own power. They trusted their instincts. They knew
